WHO WE ARE - SUBUKU SECONDARY SCHOOL

Our Journey & Commitment.

Subuku Secondary School was established in January 2013 by the local community in Kihingo Division, Njoro Sub-County, Nakuru County. It was started to address the low transition rate from primary to secondary school, caused by long travel distances and limited financial resources in many households.

The school began with a single Form One class and two teachers posted by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC). Since then, it has steadily grown in enrollment, teaching staff, and infrastructure, with continued support from parents, stakeholders, and community partners.

  • Discipline: Building a culture of respect and responsibility.
  • Growth: Expanding in academics, staff, and facilities each year.
  • Community Foundation: Started and supported by the local residents.
  • Resilience: Progressing in spite of challenges with a vision for excellence.
